In Ramadan 2022, Ummah Charity International (UCI) will continue its critical work of providing much-needed support to impoverished families in developing parts of the world. Join us in our mission to ensure this holy month is one of ease for thousands of fellow Muslims in Pakistan.
Last year, despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic, we were able to help 37,753 people with monthly food packs, iftar meals, water aid, Eid gift packs, and more. This year, we aim to expand our network of care. Can we rely on your support again?
As the Muslim ummah enters another Ramadan in the pandemic, you can give hope and reduce uncertainty for those facing severe food shortages.
Give Zakat - 100% Donation Policy
Last year, your Zakat provided urgent relief for over 100,000 Muslims in dire need. Will you help us increase our reach in 2022? Calculate and pay your Zakat easily. Through UCI, 100% of your donation reaches worthy recipients.
This year we are even more committed to helping the mustahiqeen—the ones who most need our help. May their prayers increase your rewards, in this world and in the Hereafter.
Every penny you donate reaches the poor. Our organisational and operational costs are covered by other means.
Feed a Fasting Muslim
‘Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may learn piety and righteousness.’
(Quran, 2:183)
For many Muslims facing economic difficulties, the main concern during Ramadan is related to getting enough food to feed themselves and their families.
That’s why, here at Ummah Charity International (UCI), we focus on providing aid in the form of Iftar meals and monthly food packs. Since 2014, we’ve given over 22,790 Iftar Packs to the needy and another 82,644 have benefitted from our Ramadan Food Packs distribution.
Our food packs include the basic necessities to keep an average-sized family fed during the month of Ramadan.
In Ramadan, the reward of any good deed is multiplied 70 times. So, what better time to donate than now?
Quench the Thirst of a Fasting Muslim
The need for water is felt most strongly when fasting. But we know that come Iftar time, we can drink our fill. This is not the case for peole in communities that have limited access to clean water. For them, Ramadan is one of the most challenging times. Imagine fasting without access to clean water for basic hygiene, ablutions, and to use during Suhoor and Iftar. Imagine having to walk long distances while fasting to fetch water? Can you help make their Ramadan easier?
By donating to UCI’s water projects this Ramadan, you’ll be making fresh, clean water available to impoverished communities across rural Pakistan.
Building a water well or pump is Sadaqah Jariyah -ongoing charity. Providing a water source for a needy community in Pakistan today, will allow you to reap the rewards in this lifetime and beyond, even after death.
‘Whoever draws near to Allah by performing any virtuous deed (in Ramadan) shall be like the one who had performed an obligatory act (Fard) in any other time, and whoever performs an obligatory act (Fard), shall be like the one who performed seventy obligatory acts in any other time.’ (Al-Bayhaqi).
Give Sadaqah Jariyah or donate your Zakat to our Water Projects now to make this Ramadan easier for thousands of Muslims in need.
Brighten a Child’s Eid
When you were a child, did you get gifts from your parents for keeping your first fasts? Can you donate an Eid Gift Pack to a child living in poverty?
UCI’s gift packs provide joy to children from families who cannot afford Eid gifts. They encourage children to believe in the goodness of the ummah, and make them excited about Ramadan and Eid.
‘Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.’ (Quran 2:277).
Ramadan Mubarak from all of us at UCI. May the month of blessings be full of Barakah and Aafiyah, for you and your family Aameen!
