Qurbani 2020

Millions of Muslims around the world honour the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim A.S. They sacrifice a livestock animal after Eid-Ul-Adha prayers making a conclusion of Hajj. With the support of its donors, UCI has successfully been able to provide meat to the poor and needy families in the most impoverished regions of the third world since 2014.

The Process

At UCI we select the best animals for Qurbani. The cattle are obtained from multiple markets and are then transported to our various locations. At each location our team makes sure the cattle are well cared for and fed so that all animals are as healthy and nutritious as possible. On the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah all the animals are sacrificed and UCI’s teams head on their way to distribute the freshly butchered meat. Orphaned children, women and the elderly are prioritised, ensuring the meat was delivered to those who need it most.

Every year Mufti Abdul Wahab personally visits Pakistan to ensure that the Qurbani project is performed in accordance to the correct Islamic teachings and distributes meat himself in the most vulnerable of areas.

Put Your Qurbani In Safe Hands

Approximately 60 percent of the Pakistani population is facing food insecurity, and malnutrition is highly prevalent. Sadly, around 820 million people around the world are undernourished. We will need your help to eliminate hunger from people’s lives. Since COVID-19 is hitting the vulnerable families across the globe, this year your Qurbani is more important than the past years.  Your single donations can provide hundreds of affecting families a healthy nutritious meal.
