Our Prophet (PBUH) said ‘Whoever feeds the person who is breaking his fast, he will have his reward (for his fasting) without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person.’ (Al-Tirmidhi)
An already unstable global economy is worsening as the impact of the pandemic continues to make itself felt. Food prices, along with malnutrition rates continue to rise. For poor people who struggle to find food, it is even harder in Ramadan.
Providing Iftar to an impoverished family in Pakistan is one of the best gifts you can give this Ramadan. Your donations will enable needy Muslims to fulfil their obligation to fast, knowing they will have food to break their fast with at the end of the day. For you, it is a simple yet powerful way to earn rewards.
‘Whoever feeds a fasting person will have his sins forgiven and will be saved from the hell-fire.’ (Ibn Khuzaymah)
The Impact of your Zakat Donations
Ummah Charity International (UCI) has been supporting needy people since 2014. To date, your Zakat and Sadaqah donations have allowed us to distribute over 20,123 Iftar meals in impoverished communities. This Ramadan, the people in these communities are relying on us again. Can you please help?
Your Zakat and Sadaqah donations help us tackle food poverty outside of Ramadan as well. UCI distributes cooked meals in many areas of Pakistan throughout the year.

How You Can Help
Can you give your Zakat, or a portion of your Zakat to feed people facing hunger this Ramadan? There are several donation options for you to choose from, depending on your budget.
One Iftar pack includes a fresh, hot meal accompanied by dates, juice, and fruit. UCI’s Iftar food packs have made a positive difference to thousands on the brink of starvation. Please help us continue helping people who need it the most.
Fidyah and Kaffarah
UCI also accepts Fidyah and Kaffarah, which are payments one has to make towards a poor person’s meals for missed fasts. Donate your Fidyah and Kaffarah to UCI and ensure that your missed fasts are accounted for and a person in need is helped simultaneously.
‘A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry.’ Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) (Bukhari).
Note: You can donate Sadaqah, Lilah and Zakat towards our Ramadan projects. Remember our 100% Zakat policy means every pound of your Zakat donation goes to those who need it the most.
