“If you cannot feed hundreds of people, then feed just one"
(Mother Teresa)
In this winter, approximately 200,000 people will be facing worst manifestation of homelessness in the UK, more youth are pushed out on the streets after the Covid-19 pandemic because they lost their jobs or because families have disrupted their relationships. In the following months, three quarters of Youth Homelessness, charity organizations expect an increasing number of young people to sleep roughly on streets.
Emerging Crisis
Undoubtedly this year was not much welcoming for the whole world, Ummah Charity International with the support of their generous donors decided to feed the homeless who are living on streets in this harshest time of the year. Our team reached as many people as they can and provided them a pack of happiness which can feed them for a week. As UK entered in the second most dangerous stage of this Coronavirus, the crisis would be same for the Christmas as well. We treated individuals with reverence and caution – we greeted them with the warm crises, so they recover their integrity and are able to live again.

What does Quran says?
The more give a Sadaqah the better we raise our Iman and so, a lifetime rewards from Allah awaits for you. The granting of charity out of our wealth not diminishes our wealth, but rather increases it through Allah.
In Surah Al-Insan, the Quran defines the virtues of people as;
“And the ones who offer food, instead of their own need, to the needy, and the orphan, and the hostage, [saying in their hearts],’We only feed you for the sake of Allah Almighty, and we ask for nothing in return from you, not even a word of thanks’’ (76:8-9)
Importance of Sharing
The act of giving to others is on the most favorable actions in Islam. There are many verses in Quran from which we can take notes that the act of charity is considered to the exemplary and should be done frequently or on the daily basis.
May Allah SWT make us think about what we have been up to for the Islamic teachings on the topic of starvation in our society? As our beloved Prophet said that "Spreading peace and feeding the poor,"
