COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation and it has shaken the world in the span of a little over two months.
It is during crises like these that those who are vulnerable and desperate are affected the most. Those with no family or friends to check up on them. Those living in slums and poverty-stricken communities, especially the elders and the orphans who don’t have access to support, healthcare or information.
Many of us are lucky enough to be safe in our homes where there is minimal risk, yet those who have ramshackle cottages which they share with much of their extended family are in real danger.

OUR RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
So far we’ve distributed many healthcare kits to some of the most vulnerable areas in Pakistan. As well as this, our volunteers visited our Ummah Street School alongside specially trained healthcare officials and doctors to deliver much-needed awareness sessions on hand-washing and general hygiene.
Our work has helped many people from distraught communities, but in order for us to expand our work, we need your help.
There are still hundreds of people who do not have access to the facilities that we have in the West. With lack of doctors and testing kits, these people are unsure of proper social distancing techniques to be able to keep themselves and those around them safe.
