"Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever grants respite to someone in difficulty or relieves him, then Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection when there is no shade but his."
The Rohingya community is facing worst torture, rape and genocide. More than 400,000 people have now entered into the neighbouring country of Bangladesh, more are coming and creating a humanitarian crisis on an unprecedented level. They are wounded, helpless and hopeless as they have very little assistance in Bangladesh. They are still in shock and need immediate response.
The emergency aid is now required to sustain the Rohingya and treat the elderly and injured.
We, at Ummah Charity International, have been supporting these refugees. Chairman Mufti Abdul Wahab has been working in Cox’s Bazar, the area which is right in the heart of the refugee crisis. Sadly, it is now home to the worlds largest refugee camp.
We have set up medical camps and thousands of people have greatly benefited from these camps. Free treatments were completed and free medicines were given out to the patients.
You can also support these medical camps by donating £100.
We provided cooked meals for all the refugees and served them on a large scale. Every meal would result in a prayer coming towards your way as they are living in extreme hunger, which can be ended by donating £50 towards a cooked meal or a food pack.
Our team have successfully installed handpumps in areas where there was dire need of clean water. You can donate a handpump for £200 or you can quench their thirst by providing them with clean drinking water for just £100.
How about providing a shelter for a family for only £500-£1000? At least that way they will have a roof to live under rather than the open sky.
