"The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever among you wakes up secure in his property, healthy in his body, and he has his food for the day, it is as if he were given the entire world” - Al-Tirmidhi"
In almost all countries, including the developed ones, there are
people who do not have their own houses and they have to spend their lives,
especially the nights, in dangerous circumstances. In developing countries such
as Pakistan, this problem is much more serious with a rising population
consisting of nearly 200 million people. It is estimated that around 20 million
people are homeless and around one billion people are living in slum areas with
inadequate housing conditions. This is a staggering number and portrays the
seriousness of this issue.
Tameer-e-Ashiana is a very important project of Ummah Charity International. It aims at providing proper shelter and housing facilities for the homeless and needy. Our team at Ummah Charity International visits slum areas in various urban cities and help by repairing existing broken homes and improving their living conditions. This provides a stable and long-lasting way out to those needy and deserving individuals who cannot afford a safe and secure housing unit for their family.
We invite you to participate in this great initiative and request you to help in the process of solving this serious issue.
